Plank WHATTTT???

This is the conversation between me and my mum last night ..

MIA        : Mama,I got to do an assignment. Have you heard of Planking?


MAMA   :  Mesti la mama tau..ingat mama bodoh sangat ke? *laughing but not sincerely*


MIA       : Pelik-pelik kan orang sekarang ni. I've made a research and read an article about it. What      the F*ck?(mind my language.This is just my everyday language) At first, they seems weird to me to do such activities. what kind of hobby is that?Attention Seeking much?. *quiet for 5 second and continue back the conversation* BUTTTTTT...i find it cool after that..nak jugak la mama buat planking!nanti tangkap gambar and post kat facebook. Malaysian style of Planking!


MAMA : You should try!I want you to try!This is what mama don't understand about youngster nowadays. Semua into technology, gadget la, pi sana sini. Kita hidup memang zaman technology tapi mama still respect orang yang live in today's modern world and still maintain the culture of bercucuk tanam ni.Tak sayur, maybe bunga kat garden tu. You save the earth and it's a part of exercise tau bila do planting.

The above conversation is REAL!  Me and my mum have a chat in the hospital around 1am+ since my mum couldn't sleep and i got no choice to stay awake just to check on her. So, just to create a conversation, I talk about planking. Many of people out there still don't know what is Planking..Including my mum! *my mum is too cute...agree?? *


What Is Planking? 
According to the dictionary, the art of planking is to lay horizontally across any object or the ground with their arms on the sides, aiming to occur in any daring situation or a brotherly of core strength.

The rules of planking are simple. A person must lie and facing down, palms flat against your sides with your feet together and pointing at the floor. Points are awarded for an original location and for the number of spectators and participants involved. That person must (obviously...of course!) get someone to snap a photo of that person planking. Without a photo, , you're just a person lying down. (waste of time pose and no picture taking??seriously?haha). This planking describes variously as a global participatory art project, the lazy man's free-running, a pointless internet crazy which it is becoming an IN-IN thing on the web and it is also known as the new Flash-Mobs.

I think this planking picture is cool! 

The reason why people planking and take a photo of it because planking is usually recorded and uploaded to social networking sites to gain kudos for the level of comedy, aesthetic or endangerment accomplish in any execution. By doing so, people will know you more as i'm myself will called this type of person as Attention Seeker.It is just like the act of laying on anything to fit in and look like a retard while someone take a picture of you..IT has becoming a stupid internet sensation..Muahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
This is what you need to do when you're performing a plank.
1/ You must always lay face down, ensuring your face remains expressionless for the duration of the Plank.

2/ Your legs must remain straight, and together with toes pointed.

3/ Your arms must be placed by your side, held straight and fingers pointed.

4/ You must make it known that you are Planking. Saying 'I am Planking' usually get this across. Sternly announcing it will ensure a good result.

5/ Your safety should always be considered. Properly thought through Planking procedures should always go to plan. Never put your self at undue risk.

6/ Every Plank that is captured must be named.                                                  (courtesy from the web) :D

Probably, planking can be the most stupid thing you will ever see in this world. But not to me.I've seen and

experience worst than this. (Let me just keep it to myself. Its's for me to know and not for you to find out)

If you see something stupider than that, you can kill yourself.. I mean, literally and also reality. This planking activity has increasingly popular in Australia. Yeah, i think it stupid, silly and yet, it's a fun hobby to do but sometimes there are people who trying to think out of the box by creating an AMAZING *yes,i speak sarcasm* planking post that can be very dangerous to themselves. This is what i get from the net about the case that happened caused by planking..

Hey everyone.Currently, I'm at the Pantai Medical Center Hospital Kuala Lumpur. My mum went for her first Chemotherapy session. I'm sure some of  you guys don't know (or maybe don't even bother to know) what happened to my mum. She is diagnosed with a breast cancer 2nd stage and yeah, to make it short, she is done with her surgery and now she needs to go for a chemo session to kill the cancer cells. Here I am, whenever I got no classes, this is what i do..A full time student and a busy daughters who take care of her mum 24/7. I love you mama!

Okay, now let's start with the introduction shall we? My full name is Amira Nabila Binti Jamal Abdul Nasir. Long name isn't it? But to make it short, just called me MIA  :) The youngest in the family out of 3 siblings (my mum and my siblings used to called me baby in the house) . Out of 3 siblings, all of us has carry a different types of personality.. Wayyyyyyy different and it has becoming a challenges to both of my parents.. Well,it's all good. <3  From the left, that's my 2nd sister. Her name is Amira Nadia, 26 years old and she work with MAS Airlines as a flight attendance. She gave up in teaching (A Bachelor of Degree Holder of TESL) and decided to work as a stewardess. * what a waste of time *. She's very ladylike in terms of appearance,  petite, a real fighting cock (I mean it! Kecil-kecil cili padi), very introvert and the genius one in the family :) Next to her is my brother, his name is Amir Hamzah, 28 years old and he is the Senior Engineer of Texas Instrument Company Well, what about him? He's married, a gamer and a  comic addict..like seriously, a real addict. He could spend his off day on playing game. (excluding visiting my mum) Even he can play a rock band game with his wife and yes, having a date with his wife at home by just playing PS3. Just the 2 of them. A very workaholic(just like my dad), can be hot temper sometimes and he's the intelligent one. :) Okay, enough of my sibling..next to my brother is ME!yeah, ME,ME,ME!!! ;)

I'm the weirdest among all of my siblings. I'm the opposite of them. Very extrovert, a bit rough and what i mean is Tomboyish. Even though i'm that rough but frankly, i'm the most fragile and the most sensitive one. Easily cry when i get scolded by someone that i love. But when it comes to an outsider, oh no...i don't give a damn and i very stubborn. The average types of person/student. (Not genius, not intelligent but so-so) and i enjoy my life to the fullest. Very active and i just can't sit there doing nothing. I love music, my passion is arts, i enjoy paintings, i play drums, i do fashion, i love reading and enjoy every bits of it. My biggest dream is to become a fashion designer and yes, my mum disallowed me to do so..she said "Adik,bukan mama tak nak kasi adik jadi fashion designer, nak jadi designer ni kena ada duit banyak.u must be rich and must have a lot of networking. I'm sure u got no problems of getting a networking but duit tu. To be safe, get a secure job and take fashion as a second job. Mama tak nak anak mama end up jahit baju kurung kat rumah during hari raya je."  Sad case isn't it? She said this when i was 16years old, during the time i need to choose the stream. After SPM, I've work as a kindergarten teacher with Gymboree Play and Music to boost my confidence, and after that, I've decided to become a hotelier. Done with my double diplomas with 2 majoring which is hotel and travel management & Business Management. (trust me, it's tiring and i got brain damage this time due to excessive information). Doing my intern at Istana Hotel Kuala Lumpur for 6 months and i got the offer from the hotel to become the Lobby Ambassador. My task is dealing with the VIP, Royalties, Ministers, Ambassadors. I've been sent to "Kelas Protocol Istana" and this is when, i decided to further my degree to communication studies doing Public Relations. I've entered SEGi University College last year on February 2010, all new as i totally changed my course and after a year plus, i realized i am more towards advertising fields. When i entered the 2nd year, spoke to Miss Zarina regarding the confusion of selecting a right majoring and yes, finally...i found the love of my life..Advertising. :) Yeah, I've been facing a lot of jobs, confusion there and one thing i realize that, "hey,i think i just love to talk.communicate with people!and yes,i finally found my future path after a very longs years".. And that's about it..I'm done typing, done blogging..Need to see my mum in the chemo daycare for a while! :)
